FAQ's
Do I need to give you a deposit to book my session?
No, I do not require a deposit to book your session.
Can you help with choosing locations, outfits, etc?
I am happy to help with any or all! Once we book a shoot date I will reach out to talk about locations and your “vision” for your shoot. I love giving my opinion about outfits if you want help deciding what colors, styles, etc.
I don’t know how to pose…can you help me?
Absolutely! Posing does not come naturally for anyone! It’s my job to help you with poses and can send some posing ideas/videos before your shoot to help take the nerves away!
What if the weather looks bad the week of my scheduled shoot or if it rains the day of?
Not a problem! I watch the weather report very carefully the week of your shoot and usually we will try to do the session unless it’s clear that it will be raining! If we happen to get “rained out” we will schedule the soonest date possible that works for both of us.
What if I have to cancel the day of my shoot will I be charged?
No…life happens and sometimes there are things out of our control (i.e. sickness, accidents, family emergencies, etc.) it happens to me too! We can always reschedule!
Can I bring someone with me to my shoot?
I love when seniors bring a friend or family member to their senior session! It’s so helpful to have someone along to carry your outfits, water, etc.
Can I bring my dog? Car? Dance/cheer props? Instruments?
One of my favorite things is when seniors bring items that represent what they love which makes the session even more personal and fun! It’s important for me to know what it is you’re planning on bringing before the day of the shoot. Although most local locations are okay with animals, Nisqually Wildlife Refuge does NOT allow animals so we will need to choose a different location if you want to bring your favorite pet!
What kind of payment do you take and how and when do I pay you?
I’m able to take cash, check (made out to “Kelli Jackson Photography”) or Venmo and full payment is due the day of the shoot.
What is the turnaround time for my photos and how will I get them?
My usual turnaround time is 2 weeks. Sometimes at the end of the summer, it will extend to 3 weeks depending on how many back-to-back sessions I’ve had. I will email you your edited, digital online gallery where you’ll be able to share and download all your photos!
Do you sell photo prints after I receive my gallery?
No, I do not do any photo printing but can suggest some good, affordable online companies who can print out whatever you need!
